Springfield Christian School Visits Hope
Forty students and ten adults from Springfield Christian School got a behind-the-scenes look at Hope when they visited Noll, Capital Area Career Center, and the Hope Institute Learning Center. Part of their visit included special service projects at HILC such as preparing speech materials, planting flowers with Intermediate IV, and making dog treats with Pre-Vocational. Their tour included visiting with the classes at CACC and meeting with our new therapy dog, Cooper.Amanda Brott, Skylar Tierney, and Cliff Hathaway led the group on a tour of our facilities, where the kids witnessed how Hope educates students with developmental differences. Wide-eyed, they saw first-hand one of our kids on a calming walk and then laughed when another Hope student huddled up the tour to lead a cheer.
Everyone here at Hope appreciates the time and effort of the students at Springfield Christian School!
