Hope to Host FREE community music and family festival – Hope-a-palooza

SPRINGFIELD– Hope, a longstanding nonprofit organization headquartered in Springfield, IL is hosting a FREE community event for families on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from 3:00 -7:00 pm at the Hope Pavilion (5220 S. 6th Street – Springfield, IL). Hope-a-palooza, an inclusive music and family fun festival will be open to the public and provide fun for all ages.
Hope – whose mission is to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach optimum growth, independence, and joy – created Hope-a-palooza as a way to bring together the community, Hope staff, and the children and families that they serve.

Kids of all ages will enjoy FREE entertainment with The Bubble Bus, inflatables, wild Times Exotic Petting Zoo, a gaming truck, Sensory Play Zone, hay rides, a variety stage with various music and dance acts, and more!

Food and drinks will be available for purchase and provided by Twyford BBQ and Catering, Coopers StrEATside Bistro, The Hope Cafés, Engrained Brewery, and Danenberger Family Vineyards.

Hope has a rich and highly reputable history in the Springfield community and has also established programs throughout the State of Illinois and into Missouri. For over 60 years, Hope has provided educational, residential, clinical, and health care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Today, the family of Hope programs include:
