The staff at Hope Therapeutic is proud to offer a wide range of services for adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Our staff consists of Occupational, Physical and Massage therapists as well as Physical education specialists. We engage with each of our clients to provide the best and most personalized services. This allows our residents to maintain their independence in as many areas as possible as well providing support when needed.
Occupational Therapist
The OT team consists of Occupational therapists as well as certified occupational therapy assistants. Treatments are individualized with the goal of helping clients achieve the things that are important and meaningful to them. OT can support sensory strategies, functional movement, splinting, dining, home evaluations, adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Physical Therapist
The PT team consists of Physical therapist and physical therapy assistance. Treatments consist of gait training, balance, range of motion, all geared towards maintaining the highest quality of life for our clients.
Massage Therapist
Massage therapy will often collaborate with OT and PT treatments. These sessions consist of physical manipulation of muscles to ease contractures, increase extension and muscle relaxation and decrease muscle tension. This is an incredible service that is provided to our population.
Physical Education Specialist
Physical education specialists create personalized fitness plans and can offer custom modifications. They assist with maintaining overall health, strength and wellness; or provide customized fitness plans to support diabetes management, obesity, cardiovascular health and many more chronic conditions.
Wheelchair Evaluation
Hope staff assist in customizing and adapting manual and power wheelchairs to fit the client’s needs. Hope has access to pressure mapping and demo equipment to ensure effective equipment is recommended. We work closely with different vendors to assess each individual and make sure the right equipment is in use.
