Hope Graduation 2014
Hope celebrated the graduation of 23 students May 23 at the Activity Room of the Learning Center in Springfield. It is one of the largest classes Hope has seen in recent years. The event featured a photo slideshow, student solo song performance and moving speeches by Hope President and CEO Karen Foley, incoming Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Joshua Renken, and Division Supervisor of the Illinois State Board of Education Robert Kroll. The 19 graduates in attendance wore navy blue caps and gowns. They all received certificates of completion, which recognize the conclusion of their stay at Hope. The graduates are expected to soon move in with family or adult group homes.
