Hope Learning Academy Edwardsville (HLAE) is a therapeutic day school, located in the heart of Madison County. The Edwardsville School provides a state-of-the-art learning environment supported by a staff of certified special education teachers and dedicated therapists and paraprofessionals. With a population of 262,966, Madison county encompasses much of the eastern part of St. Louis. Of that population, 16% have some form of disability, 5% higher than the state average of 11%. By partnering with local schools, HLAE provides much needed services to children in grades Kindergarten-12th. Students learn alongside their peers in a group environment, outfitted with smartboards, tablets, and specific equipment dedicated to varying sensory needs.
