Our Diversity Pledge

As a provider for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Hope actively celebrates inclusion. Together, we are committed to affirming and welcoming people from all walks of life. We’re building a culture of intentional inclusion that affirms people of all ages, races, genders, religions, sexualities, abilities, and experiences.

Hope’s mission is to help children and families achieve optimum growth, independence, and joy. To enact this mission, we advocate for our children and families by promoting intentional inclusion at Hope and in the community. We celebrate each person’s individual abilities and experiences while embracing their unique potential.

As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, Hope has pioneered a diversity and inclusion initiative that fosters an environment of learning and growth to create agents of change against hate and injustice. We continue to create safe spaces for honest, open, compassionate discussion and advocate ardently for inclusion in our workplace and communities.

Together, we’re cultivating an ongoing culture of inclusion that embraces every person’s unique experiences and potential.
